14 years after his Super Bowl halftime performance was overshadowed by a shocking wardrobe malfunction, Justin Timberlake will return as the headliner for the Super Bowl LII halftime show for the third time. Timberlake announced the news Sunday night on Twitter.
Timberlake performed at Super Bowl XXXV (won by the Ravens) and Super Bowl XXXVIII (won by the Patriots). A third Super Bowl means Timberlake will have the most individual appearances of any halftime performer.
Timberlake may not be the same caliber headliner as Taylor Swift, Beyonce or Rihanna - but fans are overjoyed at the prospect of an *NSYNC reunion.
