The Collected Group, parent company of leading contemporary brands Current/Elliott, Joie and Equipment, announces its appointment of Natalie Ratabesi to Senior Vice President of Design at its denim lifestyle label, Current/Elliott. Natalie will assume her new position and work closely with The Collected Group’s Chief Brand Officer, Sarah Rutson, to oversee design direction of the brand’s womenswear and menswear collections, beginning with the Fall 2018 season. Along with the new position at Current/Elliott, Ratabesi will continue to design and operate her own eponymous line, TRE by Natalie Ratabesi.
A Central Saint Martins graduate, Natalie worked at Christian Dior under John Galliano, as well as with Oscar de la Renta, Valentino and Gucci, before joining Ralph Lauren as Senior Creative Director. Natalie then held posts as Creative Director for Alberta Ferretti’s Philosophy line, Vince and Yeezy, before launching her own collection, TRE by Natalie Ratabesi in Los Angeles.
With its launch in July of 2008, Current/Elliott was created out of love for vintage denim and its Americana roots. The brand pays tribute to denim’s history as well as its timelessness. Since its inception, the brand has evolved its offering with a full range of trend-driven apparel for both men and women.
