Taylor Swift dazzled on red carpet
London - Sheeffah Shiraz

Taylor Swift dazzled on red carpet London - Sheeffah Shiraz The 33rd edition of the British Phonographic Industry's annual pop music awards, the Brit Awards 2013 took place last night at The O2 Arena in London, and what a night it was. The red carpet was a complete juxtaposition to London's cold, grey skies as music's finest came out in full force, with some dressed to impressed, and others, well, not so much. Our favourite for the night was definitely Taylor Swift, who once again wowed the crowds looking glamorous, demure and down-right sexy in a sweeping Elie Saab floor-length gown with thigh-high slits. Unfortunately, some of the other female starlets did not amaze as much. Actress Gemma Arterton looked more like a Christmas tree decoration than an A-list celeb in her Jonathan Saunders red sequin dress from the Spring/Summer 2013 collection, whilst a typical on-trend Rita Ora also failed to make an impression in her Ulyana Sergeenko blush pink backless gown. However, the biggest fashion faux pas of the night had to be Lana Del Rey. The American singer and songwriter, who usually dons a sophisticated, elegant and demure look, turned up in a boring and bland, black Chanel shirt dress with Jimmy Choo heels. Luckily, the boys were on top form. British boyband and teen heartthrobs, One Direction, defined swagger by dazzling in a combination of Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Topman and ASOS. And they weren't the only ones - can we all please just take a minute to appreciate Mr Justin Timberlake, the man whose music comeback has been the recent talk of the town. Seems like the Suit and Tie singer certainly picked up a few pointers from this month's Fashion Week, as he oozed style in a slate grey Tom Ford suit. One look that certainly took us by surprise was that of singer Jessie J. Wearing a belted black Versace gown, with a statement plunging V, the British singer looked sleek and sexy, pairing her look with straight black hair and minimal makeup. She styled her look with Jimmy Choo heels and Susan Caplan Vintage Collection jewellery.   Gemma Arterton (L) and Rita Ora                                                                                                      Lana Del Ray                                                        One Direction                                                             Justin Timberlake                                                               Jessie J
