Giambattista Valli collection London - Arab Today The Italian designer will open his first store in his home city of Milan. With two stores in Paris in the luxurious Passage de la Madeleine, Italian designer Giambattista Valli is now turning his eyes to the Italian fashion capital of Milan. Opening in January 2014, Valli's first Italian store will appear on 12 via Sant' Andrea, at the 'Quadrilatero della moda' (the luxury fashion district around Via Montenapoleone). "The concept of this particular flagship comes from the idea and the willingness of opening a certain number of 'Valli Houses' worldwide, each one dedicated to the style and culture of the city and which welcome new friends keen to share my vision," said Valli. Valli's own design concept for the store was interpreted and brought to life by architect Luigi Scialanga, the man who was also behind his two Parisian spaces. Set inside a historic building, the 130 square meter space will stock the entire prêt-à-porter womenswear line, alongside a range of accessories including bags, shoes, furs and jewelry. According to Valli the store "is a very important milestone and has a very particular meaning to me as this is the first 'Valli House' in Italy, the country where I was born." The boutique will also offer an exclusive service allowing customers to order a bespoke and personalized versions of the shoes and 'Valli bags' in rare skins. Source: Relaxnews
