HANRO has announced the launch of its first ready-to-wear womenswear line under the brand name ERIC & ME. The first collection for AW15 will launch in-store in September 2015 and will be shown at the fairs: Premium (Berlin), Who’s Next (Paris), Supreme (Dusseldorf) and CIFF (Copenhagen). The brand name is inspired by HANRO’s first ready-to-wear collections back in the 1930s designed and led by siblings Madeleine and Eric Handschin who took over the family business in 1933 and launched a line in womenswear which ran until the 1980s. The new ERIC & ME collection comprises 43 styles and includes: covers tops, shirts, pullovers, jackets, blazer, skirts, dresses, trousers, a scarf and a belt. The main focus is on high quality jersey styles from premium cotton, wool or cashmere blends, with refined details from silk or leather; soft flowing silk tops and modern sweatshirts or chunky knit looks. The colour palette offers subtle winter shades like olive, fresh nude rose, accents of Bordeaux, and prints on silk. All styles will be offered from sizes 36-42 (XS-L) and will retail from 120 Euros.
