Artist Paul Schütze reveals two new additions to his fragrance line. Schütze - who has been developing fragrance in the context of his work, created each of the perfumes himself and developed a process that mirrors his approach to creating an artwork.
The first, Villa M, is inspired by Curzio Malaparte’s astonishing cliff-top home on the island of Capri. The scent contains notes of ambergris, cedar, cyclamen, hay, mimosa, pink pepper, and seaweed.
The second addition, Cuadra, invokes the modernist masterpiece of Mexican architect Luis Barragan. The scent combines notes of bay, bergamot, coffee, eaglewood, hay, sandalwood, jasmine, oak, moss, and tobacco.
The fragrances will be available at Roullier White and Beast from November and Liberty from January 2018.
