The world's largest and first heli-skiing company, Canadian Mountain Holidays (CMH), is offering "Mystery Trops" at reduced prices in celebration of its 50th anniversary.
The lodge at which you'll be staying remains a mystery, but the discount of up to 40 percent off is certain.
CMH Mystery Trips from four to seven days long are being offered between December 20 and April 25. They include all the bells and whistles of regular CMH trips including accommodations, meals, ski or snowboard rentals and all the necessary training and avalanche safety equipment.
As always, ground transportation between the mystery lodge and the Calgary International Airport is part of the package, so all you have to pay for is your plane ticket.
Sign up for a Mystery Trip that takes place from December 20-27 and spend Christmas heli-skiing in Calgary for 4,530 CAD ($3,983), a savings of 3,025 CAD ($2,659).
For obvious reasons, heli-skiing is an expensive endeavor and deals are hard to come by.
While CMH's offerings are likely to fill up fast, Valdez Heli-Camps offers ongoing options to experience Alaskan heli-skiing for a reduced price.
They offer "Vertical Feet Punch Cards," a loyalty program that makes it possible for skiers and riders to experience a half-day of heli-skiing once they accumulate enough points.
