A new wellness resort will open in New Zealand in January 2014. Located near Queenstown, the Aro Ha Wellness Retreat will offer five- and seven-day all-inclusive packages, including yoga classes, hiking, meditation and massage therapies. The retreat also includes Finnish saunas and outdoor hot and cold pools, while offering an organic vegetarian diet that limits guests to a maximum of 1,200 calories per day. Aro Ha is also an alcohol-free resort. “We have developed Aro Ha as an innovative wellness concept to facilitate life changing and body morphing practices,” says Damian Chaparro, who created Aro Ha, a NZ$30 million (US$24m) purpose-built facility. “We searched the world for the best possible place to create this retreat and found it on the Wyuna Preserve near Queenstown.” Aro Ha opens on 12 January 2014.
