Anantara Vacation Club, a unique Shared Ownership concept launched in 2010 by Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, has announced a new addition to their Club Resort portfolio on the island of Bali, Indonesia. Ideally located in the stylish resort of Seminyak, only a 25 minute drive from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport, Anantara Vacation Club Bali, Seminyak is a boutique villa development offering 18 one, two and three bedroom pool villas. Seminyak is known for its charming laid back vibe, great restaurants and bars and designer shops, and this newest addition to Anantara Vacation Club’s Resort collection will help to accommodate the ongoing high demand from Club Owners on the ‘Island of the God’s’. Guests can discover the enchanting Balinese culture and Anantara’s personalised approach to hospitality from the luxury of these private secluded villas, which offer Club Owners a home away from home. Anantara Vacation Club Bali, Seminyak has a variety of luxury villas to choose from: 12 one-bedroom villas, each with indoor and external living space totalling 180 square metres; four two-bedroom villas offering 220 square metres; and two three-bedroom Royal Villas, offering extensive living space totalling 260 square metres over two storeys and a balcony. Each villa, with Balinese-inspired design, offers a private pool and sun deck, bedrooms with king size beds and en-suite bathrooms with an outdoor rainfall shower. Harold Derrah, chief executive of Anantara Vacation Club, commented: “This new Resort in Bali is a very momentous event for Anantara Vacation Club, being the first international Club managed Resort for us outside of the Thailand resorts we already own and operate. “This resort is therefore the first step of our planned international expansion, so we are understandably very excited. We are continuing to look at opportunities in mainland China, the Indian Ocean and in the Middle East, so watch this space!” In addition, each villa has a separate living area with a fully-equipped kitchen. Other Resort facilities include a Club Deli restaurant for all-day dining, which will also offer delicious pre-packaged food parcels to be enjoyed in the villa, plus a well stocked wine shop. Alternatively guests can opt for a tailored Dining by Design experience, in which a personal chef will cook in the privacy and comfort of the guest’s villa. Other facilities include a bar, a concierge service offering booking for island excursions, a library with high-speed internet and board games, bicycles for exploring the local area, child care services and an Anantara Spa with three treatment rooms. Complimentary wi-fi will also be available in all villas. Over the coming months the resort will undergo a significant refurbishment, before being officially rebranded Anantara Vacation Club Bali, Seminyak later in the year. Following the refurbishment, additional facilities at the resort will include a Fitness Centre and an Activities Centre. Anantara is nominated for the prestigious title of Asia’s Leading Luxury Hotel Brand at the World Travel Awards, with the winners set to be announced later this year.
