Novotel has opened its first hotel in the Vietnamese city of Danang. Located on the west bank of the Han River, the newly-built Novotel Danang Premier Han River becomes the tallest building in the city. The property’s 323 rooms and suites all come with either a balcony or a terrace, while hotel facilities include three F&B outlets, a fitness centre, sauna, spa and outdoor swimming pool. The hotel also features more than 800m² of conference and banqueting space, including a ballroom. “We are proud to introduce a new Novotel to Danang, a city that is gaining a lot of attention as one of the fastest growing resort destinations in the region. This is the third Accor hotel to open in this city over the last two years. With Danang’s improved accessibility and sustained economic growth, we believe that the opening of this hotel will strengthen our presence and commitment to the development of central Vietnam’s hospitality industry,” said Patrick Basset, Accor’s senior vice president for Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar & the Philippines. Novotel Danang Premier Han River joins two other Accor hotels in the city, the Grand Mercure Danang and Pullman Danang Beach Resort. It also brings Novotel’s Vietnamese portfolio to four hotels, including locations in Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City and Halong Bay. Source: Travel Daily
