Dubai's Public Prosecution has announced a donation of Dh 300,000 to U.A.E. Water Aid campaign (U.A.E. Suqia), which aims to provide drinking water to 5 million people around the globe.
Khalifa Rashid Demas Al Swaidi, the acting General Prosecutor, said that the initiative's great success reflects the generosity of U.A.E. people, its leadership and commitment to international humanitarian charities for helping people around the world.
He added that the campaign is one of the several humanitarian initiatives lunched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and contributes to promoting philanthropy to underprivileged people everywhere. This follows on the footsteps of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
