Egyption Cabinet restores daylight saving time

The cabinet decided Wednesday during its meeting to restore the daylight saving time (DST). The government said that the DST would be applied as of Thursday May 15, except during the holy month of Ramadan. The cabinet account such measure to the current critical economic conditions in the country and the lack of energy resources, which forces the Electricity Ministry to cut off power supply alternatively during rush hours to ease consumption load
