Personal Representative of His Majesty the King HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa received a letter sent to HM the King by the Amir of Qatar HH Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani inviting him to attend the UN Climate Change Conference to be held in Doha, Qatar between 4th to 7th December. This came as HH Shaikh Abdullah met with Qatar’s Ambassador to Bahrain Shaikh Abdullah bin Thamer Al Thani. HH asked the ambassador to convey HM the King’s greetings to the Amir of Qatar, wishing the Qatari people further progress and prosperity. HH praised the existing brotherly historic fraternal relations between the two countries and peoples, affirming the importance of the conference hosted by Doha, and wishing Qatar every success. HH Shaikh Abdulla and the Qatari Ambassador also reviewed bilateral relations and issues of mutual concern. It is noted that HM the King deputized his personal representative to attend the event.
