In response to the initiative of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, for planting and caring of Union trees, the National Media Council has planted a “Union Tree” at the headquarters in Abu Dhabi, as part of the 41st National Day celebrations. The event, attended by a number of officials from the National Media Council, contributed to instill the concepts of belonging and loyalty among the employees and their children toward their homeland. The officials urged them to take care of this tree as an embodiment of the deeply rooted patriotism of UAE citizens and their union. The council also called on it’s employees to take part in the initiative and plant a “union tree” in their gardens and provide the care and love stemming from their gratitude as well as environmental awareness.
