The U.A.E. will not be directly affected by the rough weather condition, caused by low pressure over the Arabian Sea, according to the National Centre of Meteorology & Seismology (NCMS).
The NCMS said in a statement released yesterday that the low pressure is still centred over the Arabian Sea and it continues to move north Northeast toward the North-western Coast of India, specifically to the regions of Konkan and Gujarat.
"There is no direct effect from this low pressure over Oman on the U.A.E., even that the effect of this system still over the Arabian Sea associated with fresh wind with speed of 30 to 40 km/hr, may reach 50 km/hr at times. Consequently, the Arabian Sea will continue to remain rough to very rough and the roughness may reach the Coast of Oman." The Centre predicted probability of some rainfall over the provinces of Southeast, Middle , Northeast and parts of Muscat and Hajar Mountains.
