An earthquake of 4.1 magnitude hit the Indian capital and it's nearby areas Saturday night, a disaster management official said.
However, there have been no casualties or damage to properties, he said on condition of anonymity.
"Strong tremors were felt in the national capital and Gurgaon, a suburb some 30 mms away. The epicentre was Jhajjar district in neighboring state of Haryana," the official said.
The Indian capital and nearby National Capital Territory cities are seismic-prone zone.
Just three weeks back, another quake of 3.7 magnitude, had hit the national capital and it's nearby areas.
