The first factory for manufacturing LED lamps was established in the Upper Egypt Governorate of Luxor.
The factory, with a total cost EGP seven million, was established at the secondary technical school in El Tod city.
Luxor governor Mohamed Badr inspected the new factory, and the governorate’s education officials briefed him on the plant’s operation plan and the training mechanism for the school’s students.
The plant, spanning over 3000 square meters, offers 200 job opportunities in addition to the training provided to the school’s students. It aims at manufacturing the LED lamps for Luxor and other nearby governorates.
