Minister of Energy Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received a a number of citizens and people’s representatives to elicit feedback on services offered by the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) and get from them suggestions on how to further improve these services.
Dr. Mirza said he always welcomed anyone who wished to meet him and that his office is open to all review as part of the directives of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa.
He said direct communication with the citizens is a key indicator to measure the quality of services provided and work to find opportunities for improvement through those observations to provide better services.
The citizens on their part thanked the minister and EWA officials for the welcome and hospitality and applauded the open-door policy it had adopted.
The minister reiterated that such a meetings are a regular feature and will be held periodically to monitor citizens' needs.

EWA Director of Human Resources Management Ragia Baqir Hussain also attended the meeting.
