The Environment Ministry will employ used car tires in energy intensive factories besides coal energy.
In statements to MENA, Minister Khaled Fahmi said used tires can serve as fuel in specific factories according to certain regulations and technology.
Fahmi added that he seeks to find energy alternatives from industrial and agricultural wastes.
