Kuwait is forecast to witness belated cold northern winds on Tuesday following a generally warm period, said meteorologist Adel Al-Saadoun.
Al-Saadoun told KUNA the coming week-long cold is locally branded "bard al-ajouz," alluding to a wide-spread story about an old female shepherd who sheared her sheep wool prematurely, and when the weather suddenly turned cold, she lost her livestock.
The meteorologist also indicated that the weather would not be as cold as it was in January and February.
