Flood warnings are in place in parts of north England and Wales, as heavy rains and gales are expected in these areas on Tuesday.
A yellow "be aware" warning for more heavy rain has been issued in parts of mid, southwest and north Wales, while eight centimeters of precipitation could fall over hilly areas on Tuesday, which might trigger floods in those parts, according to local meteorological authorities.
"We are advising people to allow extra time for journeys as driving conditions may be difficult and to take care near fast-flowing and swollen rivers," said Natural Resource Wales, a sponsored body of Welsh government responsible for the environment and natural resources of Wales.
Meanwhile, in northwest England, new flood warnings have been issued in Cumbria, a county that has been wreaked havoc by torrential rains earlier this month.
Local residents have been advised to take care when driving a number of flooded roads, and environmental agency has issued 10 flooding warnings in the area, according to local media reports.
