France was named Friday the host of an important UN conference designed to reach a global deal on climate change in 2015. In a press statement, the French Presidency said President Francois Hollande welcomed the approval of his country bid to host the important meeting despite the excepted difficulty of the negotiations of the global deal. It added that the conference will be held between November 30 and December 11 in the Bourget region of northern Paris. The decision was taken during the 19th Climate Conference which concluded in Polish capital Warsaw earlier today. The UN Climate Change Conference is held within the framework of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). They serve as the formal meeting of the UNFCCC Parties (COP) in assessing the progress in dealing with climate change
