Rains continued to pour over Alexandria and various areas in the northwestern coasts for the third day running, causing rain water to accumulate in streets and public squares.
The rainfall did not impede the navigation movement at Alexandria and Dekheila harbors.
Acting Chief of Alexandria Harbors Authority General Fathi Taha said the departure of vessels and their sailing into the harbors are normal, while loading and unloading of commodities are regular.
Alexandria security directorate beefed up traffic services to ensure smooth the traffic movement in the coastal city.
