The temperature is likely to start rising gradually from Tuesday across the emirates as the cold spell is weakened by winds from the east and southeast. The rise in temperature will be gradual and daytime conditions could become warmer, said a forecaster. The highest temperate of 30.5 degree Celsius was recorded on Monday in Umm Al Zimul, a town south of Al Ain. The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) also predicted gradual increase in temperature. The weather will be fair, but become partly cloudy on Tuesday over some areas. The forecast said winds would be light to moderate in general that might gain speed in some areas at times. Relative humidity will increase in the coastal and interior areas at night and early in the morning. This could cause mist to form in far western areas. Rough seas The sea will be slightly to moderately rough in general with two to four feet swell offshore. The conditions were rough in the sea off the coast of the northern area and on the Sea of Oman on Monday. Temperatures are likely to be 23 to 24 degree Celsius in the coastal areas, 6C to 27C in the interior areas, and 3C to 15C in the mountainous areas on Tuesday. Humidity will be in the normal range in coastal and interior areas, but could go up to 95 per cent at times.
