A young female baboon\'s taste of freedom ended Saturday afternoon when it was tranquilized and captured in Howell Township, N.J., officials said. The approximately 2-year-old primate was taken to Six Flags Wild Safari in Jackson, from where it was believed to have escaped Thursday, the Asbury Park Press reported. The baboon was spotting sitting on a fence at a horse farm and was tranquilized by staff from Six Flags about 2:40 p.m. A Six Flags spokeswoman had no further details about the animal\'s capture, the newspaper said. Six Flags has about 150 baboons. The captured baboon did not have a microchip implant given to the amusement park\'s older animals but Six Flags spokeswoman Kristin Siebeneicher said \"we feel fairly confident\" it came from the park. She said the baboon was being examined and would be quarantined for two weeks before being reintroduced into the population, the Press said.
