Mohamed Yousef Naghi Motors, the official BMW Group importer in the Kingdom, welcomed the BMW 5 Series in its showroom last week.
The seventh generation of the BMW 5 Series Sedan cuts a sporty and stylish figure with further enhanced dynamics and a line-up of assistance systems. It also offers an unmatched degree of connectivity and an innovative operating system to give drivers in Saudi Arabia a redefined experience behind the wheel of the luxury sedan.
The design and aerodynamics of the seventh-generation BMW 5 Series have been heavily upgraded to add higher levels in efficiency, comfort and performance.
Rigorous application of the BMW EfficientLightweight design concept, with increased use of aluminum and high-strength steels, reduces the weight of the 5 Series Sedan by up to 100 kg from that of its predecessor.
The newly designed chassis, a low center of gravity, BMW’s hallmark even weight distribution and a lightweight body offering exceptional torsional stiffness combine a dynamic driving experience with the long-distance comfort for which the BMW 5 Series is renowned.
Stavros Paraskevaides, managing director of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi Motors, said: “We are thrilled to have the much-anticipated all-new BMW 5 Series available in our showrooms for our customers in Saudi Arabia. We are excited to offer our customers yet another car which blends elegance, aesthetic appeal and the driving experience in a unique way.”
He added: “Mohamed Yousef Naghi Motors has gone from strength to strength in the Saudi Arabian market, continually delivering exceptional customer service and offering the latest models from the BMW Group. Now, with the BMW 5 Series, we have another strong product for those seeking a unique combination of luxury and performance.”
The BMW 5 Series also takes another step toward automated driving with extended functions for the optional Active Cruise Control (ACC) system and Steering and Lane Control assistant.
With a focus on user-friendliness, the new BMW 5 Series is fitted with the latest-generation iDrive system. In top specification, it displays navigation, telephone and entertainment features, plus vehicle functions, on a high-resolution 10.25-inch screen. The system can be operated using the iDrive Controller, by voice command or gestures, or by touching the display controls directly, as the driver wishes.
