Having made its debut at the Festival of Speed last weekend, pricing details of the aptly named Mini Inspired by Goodwood have now been revealed. Customers will be able to order the luxurious Mini, of which 1,000 will be built, for £41,000 (Dh242,000) and they’ll be delivered in March 2012. The special edition car is the result of a unique collaboration between Mini and the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars design team and features all the luxury touches and build quality of a Rolls. Inside, the dash is finished in Rolls’ premium wood trim, Walnut Burr and it also features cashmere roof linings, sun visors and rear storage tray as well as lambswool foot mats – the same ones in the current Rolls-Royce models. Article continues below The exterior has been finished in another exclusive Rolls-Royce colour, Diamond Black metallic while the multi-spoke 17in light alloys look a treat. Under the tiny bonnet lies a l.6-litre Twin Scroll turbocharger four-pot making 184bhp. It also boasts xenon adaptive headlights, Park Distance Control, automatic air conditioning, Mini Navigation and a Harman Kardon hi-fi speaker system.
