The Ministry of Economy and Trade has recalled Nissan Patrol and Juke 2013 and 2014 models for fuel leak problems.
The Ministry Wednesday said the cars are recalled to check the fuel leakage complaints and ensure Nissan automobile dealers fix the defects for the safety of vehicle owners in Qatar.
The Ministry said it will follow up with dealers on the progress of fixing the fuel leakage defect. It also directed dealerships to follow proper vehicle procedures for the safety of vehicle owners.
The Ministry advised vehicle owners to file complaint with the Consumer Rights Protection Department should there be any issues and irregularities in resolving the defect.
The recall is part of the Ministry of Economy and Trade's framework to protect consumers rights, it added.
