Japanese automobile major Toyota on Wednesday said it will increase the prices of its cars between 1.5 per cent-to-2 per cent from Oct.1 due to the rising input cost and Yen appreciation.“The prices would be raised from the first of October. The increase will be in the range of 1.5 per cent-to-2 per cent,” Sandeep Singh, deputy managing director, marketing, Toyota Kirloskar Motors told reporters on the sidelines of an industry event organised here by the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM).
