Resembling an elongated limousine, the Superbus if fully powered by electricity, and was constructed with light carbon fibre materials to make it more energy efficient. The Superbus has a 530bhp carbon fibre shell, and is similar in length and width to a public bus. It can carry up to 23 passengers, and is 15 meters long with 8 doors on each side. The cost was 13 million Euros (about 18 million U.S. dollars) to develop, and showcased at the Commercial Vehicles Conference in Dubai. The Superbus managed to achieve a speed of 250Km/h on a special “speed track”.
