Volkswagen\'s president of manufacturing in Chattanooga, Tenn., Don Jackson, says the company had room to expand production at the $1 billion facility. The new plant, which opened in May, is expected to turn out 150,000 Passats per year, the Detroit Free Press reported Tuesday Jackson said at an automotive industry conference in Traverse City, Mich.. Jackson said there was little chance the plant would begin making Audi vehicles, despite earlier discussions about such a move. On the other hand, \"We really built it with expansion in mind,\" Jackson said.
