Arabian Automobiles, distributor of Nissan, Infiniti and Renault in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, announced the launch of Nissan Sunny 2012 at showrooms with a starting price of Dh45,500. The highest model SL has been priced at Dh56,000, the company said in a statement on Wednesday. Felix Welch, Director of Sales & Marketing at Arabian Automobiles, said: “Following years of success, making it the highest volume selling model in our Nissan range – and one of the best known Nissan models - we are pleased to introduce the latest generation of the Sunny in our showrooms. Since its reveal at last year’s Dubai International Motor Show, we have received a huge number of enquiries regarding the arrival of the vehicle. With four grades to choose from, we have ensured our customers have the flexibility to pick the version most suitable to their needs and budget.” The All-New Nissan Sunny’s design is distinct from most current compact sedans, both inside and out. Externally All-New Sunny offers a refreshing design character that is both sophisticated and highly aerodynamic while inside it offers five-passenger practicality with a high degree of comfort and refinement. The All-New Nissan Sunny’s interior cabin volume of 2549 litres gives more rear legroom than some mid-size sedans – trumping even some luxury cars. Offered with either a four-speed automatic or five-speed manual to complement the 1.5-litre engine, the All-New Nissan Sunny also has generous levels of standard equipment and a broad range of choice. Features across the All-New Sunny range include drive computer and air conditioning along with a high level of safety equipment including twin airbags, anti-lock brakes and Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD). At the top end of the range, the All-New Sunny ‘SL’ grade boasts parking sensors, steering wheel-mounted audio controls and a Bluetooth® hands-free phone system, 15-inch alloys and front and rear electric windows and fog lamps.
