Renault\'s budget brand, Dacia, is set to further its position as Europe\'s fastest growing automotive manufacturer with the introduction of the Lodgy. The five- or seven-seat MPV will be introduced at the forthcoming Geneva motorshow and promises to offer the brand\'s trademark qualities of value for money and robustness. Externally, there are visual links between the Lodgy and the products of its parent company, with the car sharing a similar silhouette to the Grand Scenic. The Lodgy\'s DRG is an evolution of that found on the Sandero hatchback with drawn-back headlights linked by a large, low-set grille. Bevelled surfacing and strong, high-set fender feature lines add to the brand\'s robust, utilitarian image, underlined by the use of unpainted lower body plastics, which also serve to break up the visual mass. Internally, the car features either two or three rows of seats, which Dacia claims offer high levels of comfort to all passengers – as well as ample boot space – despite the car\'s overall length of just 4500mm. The Lodgy is likely to spearhead the Dacia launch into more markets alongside the existing Duster and Sandero models.
