Bridgestone, a leading tyre and rubber company, is set to showcase its latest technological tyre innovations and concepts at the Dubai International Motor Show. The company is the ‘Official Tyre’ of this year’s show, which is to take place at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from November 5 to 9. It will display three new tyre concepts for the first time in the Middle East and Africa region, in the future zone of its stand. The future zone will feature Bridgestone technologies, products and ideas for the future, with a strong focus on environmental solutions; these include the Air-Free concept tyre, the Half-Weight concept tyre, and tyre with logic technology for the next generation of environment-friendly vehicles. “For the first time Bridgestone will be the ‘Official Tyre’ of the Dubai International Motor Show. As the leading regional event for the motoring industry there couldn’t be a better environment for Bridgestone to introduce its new concepts which make an important breakthrough in the tyre industry,” said Shoichi Sakuma, president of Bridgestone Middle East and Africa. The stand will feature the ‘Bridgestone 4D Theatre,’ where visitors will get to experience the performance of the tyres on a simulated road trip. It will also host and display the Red Bull Chevrolet Camaro fitted with Potenza tyres. Bridgestone is also one of the main sponsors of the Red Bull Car Park Drift finals that will be held on November 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. Source: TradeArabia
