With two new special editions, the ŠKODA Fabia is now even more appealing. The ŠKODA Fabia Combi is now available as a special edition – the sporty Monte Carlo. The ŠKODA Fabia Reaction features an all new black-grey look and sporty design elements. Alongside the most extensive model campaign in the company’s history, the Czech car manufacturer is also refreshing their current model range. The popular compact car, the ŠKODA Fabia, will be available at dealers in two new special editions. “Our model portfolio is to become even more attractive,” says Werner Eichhorn, ŠKODA Board Member for Sales and Marketing. He continues, “We plan to further expand our good position in the markets with our new models.” The Fabia Reaction is based on the ‘Active’ equipment set up and boasts a distinctive design and effective contrast against the black design elements, such as the roof, spoiler, grille and exterior mirrors. The main headlights and the fog lights with integrated daylight running lights are also highlighted in black. The B-columns are covered with an adhesive decorative shiny black film. Black, 16-inch alloy, ‘Comet’ design wheels are available as optional extras. The interior features a leather package consisting of a 3-spoke leather steering wheel, as well as a leather gear stick and hand brake. These are supplemented by practical features, such as a height-adjustable driver’s seat and the split, folding rear seats and the ‘Ambition’ cockpit. Just as the Fabia Monte Carlo, the ŠKODA Fabia Combi Monte Carlo pays tribute to the 112-year successful motorsport tradition of the brand. The special edition is based on the ‘Ambition’ equipment set up. Its special dynamic is not only characterized by the standard sport suspension but also through the vehicle’s striking appearance. It includes black plastic panelling in the lower part of the chassis, black shiny B-columns and black, ‘Comet’-design, 16-inch alloy wheels. The main headlights are highlighted in black, plus the grille and the side mirrors are painted black, as is the roof railing. The windows are tinted (‘SunSet’ package). “The success of the ŠKODA Fabia Monte Carlo is evidence of our customers’ desire for custom cars,” says Eichhorn. “With the ŠKODA Fabia Monte Carlo and Fabia Reaction we are putting more emphasis on our model campaign.” The Fabia Combi Monte Carlo is available in eight different colours: corrida-red, brilliant-silver, candy-white, magic-black, cappuccino-beige, sprint-yellow, steel-grey and race-blue. All engines currently offered for the Fabia are available for the special edition. The interior of the Fabia Combi Monte Carlo also features a sporty design. The motto here is “black is beautiful”. The roof liner, dashboard, carpet und door covers are all in black. Sport seats in black-red or black-grey design are fitted as standard. They are complemented by a small leather package: the 3-spoke steering wheel, hand brake grip and gear stick are finished in leather sewn in red thread. The pedal covers are made from stainless steel. Source: skoda-auto
