Lebanese media on Monday highlighted the proposed Jordanian constitutional amendments that were received by His Majesty King Abdullah II. Lebanese Television stations broadcasted reports that reflected Jordanians’ opinions and attitudes towards the proposed amendments. The Lebanese press also dealt with the event and focused on parts of the King’s speech. The Iraqi media also highlighted the proposed Jordanian constitutional amendments that were received by the King . Iraqiya Television broadcasted on Sunday news that focused on the main proposed amendments such as the establishment of Constitutional Court. The King, It said, made it clear that the most important suggestion is the one which embodies the role of youth in political and parliamentary life and which lowered the age of candidacy for Lower House to 25. Palestinian newspapers also highlighted the proposed Jordanian constitutional amendments and focused on His Majesty’s speech.
