Cairo Court of Urgent Matters turned down on Sunday a lawsuit calling for imposing a guardianship on the Syndicate of Journalists.
The lawsuit was filed by a lawyer who accused the syndicate of sheltering criminals, in reference to journalists Amr Badr and Mahmoud Saqqa who were arrested inside the syndicate in May over criminal charges.
