The 18th International Media and News Agencies Exhibition started work here in Tehran on Tuesday. The event has brought together more than 100 international media representatives from around 50 countries. The exhibition started with the inaugural message of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, who wished the participants productive work. In his turn, Seyed Mohammad Hosseini, Iran\'s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, welcomed the guests, and noted that the event organizers do not pursue any political objectives but expect that the press, specifically foreign press, would more carefully cover the events concerning Iran. Media representatives from primarily Muslim as well as some non-Muslim countries are attending the international exhibition. Approximately 600 pavilions are currently functioning at the exhibition center.
