A delegation from the Saudi Arabian News Agency (WAS) visited the headquarters of Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Tuesday. The WAS delegation is currently in Kuwait upon the invitation of KUNA. WAS Chairman Abdulla bin Fahad Al-Husein met with KUNA Chairman of the Board and Director General Sheikh Mubarak Duaij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah. They discussed a host of media issues related to the Gulf, the Arab region, and the world at large, and they stressed the need to bolster KUNA-WAS cooperation in all fields. Al-Husein and his accompanying delegation took a short tour of KUNA departments, and introductions to the functions and duties of staff in each department, as well as an introduction on KUNA in general.
