Jennifer Lawrence shared a first The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2 photo Wednesday.
The 24-year-old actress posted the picture on Facebook, writing, "6.9.15 #MockingjayPart2 #Unite." Fans consequently believe the movie's first official trailer will be released Tuesday, June 9.
The image sees Lawrence and co-star Liam Hemsworth return as Katniss Everdeen and Gale Hawthorne. Both actors carry weapons, and appear to be scouting out a location.
Mockingjay - Part 2 will follow the characters as they stage a final showdown with President Snow (Donald Sutherland). The film opens in theaters Nov. 20, and co-stars Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark and Julianne Moore as President Coin.
Lawrence and Hemsworth first portrayed Katniss and Gale in The Hunger Games (2012), which is based on the first book in Suzanne Collins' young adult series. The first four movies have earned over $2 billion, and Mockingjay - Part 2 marks the final installment.
Lawrence last appeared in Serena with Bradley Cooper, and is scheduled to reprise Mystique in X-Men: Apocalypse. Hemsworth will star in By Way of Helena with Woody Harrelson and Independence Day 3 with Jeff Goldblum.
