The Presidency balked at misleading information published by Shorouk newspaper portal on Wednesday alleging that President Abdel Fattah El Sisi held a series of meetings with his aides, especially those in charge of the security file.
In a statement on Thursday, the presidency said the report is bare of truth, urging the newspaper to verify its reports before publication and to observe the ethics of journalism.
The Presidency urged media to verify information and depend on official sources concerning items related to the presidency.
