Former President Bill Clinton is to make his 10th and final appearance on Late Show with David Letterman Tuesday, CBS announced.
"President Clinton will discuss many topics during the interview, including the work of the Clinton Foundation, whose mission is to promote global health and wellness, increasing opportunities for women and girls, reducing childhood obesity, creating economic opportunity and helping communities address the effects of climate change," the network said in a news release. "President Clinton last appeared on the Late Show on Sept. 23, 2013. He made his first visit to the broadcast nearly 13 years ago on Sept. 11, 2002."
The celebrities booked for the show's penultimate week include Howard Stern, Don Rickles, Julia Roberts, Adam Sandler, George Clooney, Ryan Adams, Tom Waits, Oprah Winfrey and Norm Macdonald. Guests for Letterman's final three, pre-retirement Late Show broadcasts May 18-20 will be announced next week, CBS said.
