New Zealand Football has signed a four-match deal with Sky Television to broadcast All Whites home games in New Zealand. The deal includes this month’s ASB Summer International against Jamaica and three World Cup qualifiers in Stage 3 of Oceania qualifying assuming New Zealand progress past Stage Two – the OFC Nations Cup in June this year. The Stage Three matches – home and away ties between the top four nations from Stage two – will be played in the upcoming October, November and March FIFA windows, with the winner progressing to an intercontinental playoff against the fourth best CONCACAF team in November 2013 for a place at the 2014 World Cup. New Zealand Football chief executive Grant McKavanagh said: “We’ve had a good meeting of the minds with Sky and we’ve come to an agreement over the value of, and interest in, the All Whites on the Road to Brazil. “The most pleasing aspect is that we’ve got a longer term arrangement, which gives us and football fans a degree of certainty." New Zealand Football has retained rights to on-sell coverage in overseas territories and has also retained off-shore internet streaming rights.
