TV households in Switzerland can continue to subscribe to selected channels from Sky Deutschland through Teleclub. The two pay-TV broadcasters have extended their partnership in a multi-year agreement that covers the licencing of selected channels and content, the addition of new channels as well as sales and distribution collaborations for IPTV, cable networks and DTH satellite reception. As part of the agreement, Swiss viewers will be able to subscribe to new series, movie and entertainment channel Sky Atlantic HD from its launch day on 23 May 2012 via satellite through Teleclub. From mid-September 2012, the channel will also be distributed by Teleclub on its new HDTV platform via cable and IPTV in Switzerland. Teleclub offers a selection of channels from Sky Deutschland as a licence partner in Switzerland via cable, satellite and IPTV in addition to its own pay-TV channels.
