Sunrise plans IPTV platform

Swiss telco Sunrise wants to launch an IPTV platform in early 2012. The internal friendly user tests have commenced in October 2011, the company announced in Zurich. The product, through which Sunrise will develop into a quadruple play provider for commercial customers, will be finalised in the next months. Pricing and packaging details have not been announced yet. The largest competitor of national telco Swisscom currently offers broadband internet, fixed-line telephony and mobile network services.
