Mobile Internet security is facing a great threat as malicious programs rose by 52 percent year on year in 2015, official data showed Friday.
More than 1.45 million cases of malicious mobile Internet programs that charge money compulsorily or steal personal information were found, according to the National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center.
The center has blacklisted 29,000 programs and 120,000 mobile web site addresses.
Meanwhile, China has been tightening checks on mobile Internet app developers, apps stores and security software to curb the rise of malicious programs.
