Internet service has resumed in Syria on Wednesday after an outage of more than 20 hours. On Thursday, Syria\'s state-media said the outage had been caused by a damage in the main internet line that feeds Syria. The Internet blackout affected 3G service and other land line services. Syrians have grown used to such outages, as the rebels, which Damascus in most cases refers to as \"terrorists,\" frequently attack the country\'s infrastructure facilities after they are frustrated by the administration\'s steadfastness in the two-year political conflict. A complete electricity outage hit Damascus and its suburbs in late March. About a year ago, the rebels attacked a key power line near Damascus, causing a blackout in the capital and much of southern Syria.
