The Information Affairs Authority (IAA) has today denied any Bahrain TV Channel infiltration. "Citizens have been urged through TV announcements, over the past three months, to switch to Bahrain bouquet on the new frequency", an IAA official source said.
The source said that viewers had noticed that a TV satellite channel had changed its frequency. Seeking to clarify this issue, he said that NoorSat, the company which was under contract with the IAA, sold the frequency to that channel. "The IAA has nothing to do whatsoever with the old frequency", the source said, urging viewers to reset their receivers as follows:

Nilesat: Frequency 11676 – Vertical Polarisation Symbol Rate: 3/4 27500
Hotbird: Frequency 12149 – Vertical Polarisation Symbol Rate: 3/4 27500
