Efforts are under way to launch an educational satellite channel in Kuwait by early September, Kuwait\'s Al-Qabas reported Monday (June 10th). Saud al-Harbi, director of the Kuwaiti Education Ministry\'s curriculum department, said the channel\'s launch will coincide with the start of the 2013-2014 school year. The ministry has established a programme plan for the channel to present supplementary lessons in main subjects, he said, noting that the channel will be a qualitative leap in educational media based on a modern and sophisticated technology.
