In commemoration of the day that ordinary Egyptians overthrew President Hosni Mubarak, Capital Broadcast Centre [CBC] channels are offering audiences a rolling live broadcast throughout January 25. The day’s coverage will begin at 2000 hrs with Obvious Like The Sun, a programme with Shirin Effat and Ali Bahnasawy, followed by an open studio talk show with Dina Abdel Rahman and Lamis Hadidy. Live broadcasting continues right through to the evening with Kairy Ramadan’s Possible show. Network correspondents will be providing up-to-the minute updates from events across Egypt, as thousands of protesters nationwide take to the streets to celebrate the second anniversary of Egypt’s successful 2011 revolution.
